To engage in reasearch with local stakeholders, including community forums, to inform an Action Plan to improve road saftty and promote traffic calming, with a long term vision of improving road safety in the Town Centre of Wellard village. The project will be centered around Wellard Village shopping precinct and transit hub (see map link and in particular the area highlighted yellow) but it is intended that the strategies and outcomes of this project will be able to be replicated in surrounding areas.
Locals involved in the project have been empowered through meaningful discussions with local government to initiate actions aimed at improving road safety and engagement within The graphics which we are implementing will be assessed for impact by monitoring local social media page and by conversations during the actions described in section 2
