A community engagement and place-based planning project for the Shire of York, resulting in a CBD Revitalisation Plan, supporting Toolkit, and on-the-ground place activation projects.
Community-led planning and development, and improving community engagement, are important to the Shire of York, which engaged Town Team Movement to guide the Revitalisation Plan through the use of the place-based approach and led an engagement project where the community was given the opportunity to interact and have ‘experiences in place’ to help develop the vision, identity, themes, and objectives that are unique to the York CBD.

- Developed an accompanying Toolkit to guide implementation of the Revitalisation Plan
- Subsequently appointed to carry out place activation projects with the community following completion of the Plan and Toolkit
