1. Build local capability and capacity The funding provided a vehicle for the Manning Town Team to make a constructive impact on our community. This has helped to increase the exposure of this group and encourage others to participate.

4. Trial a collaborative model While we have had some challenges with local government, this first project has helped us to build improved relationships with the relevant areas of the council. The project also provided us with exposure to other local community groups.
Changes in attitudes/behaviour reflection: The engagement of children in the design elements of the mural has helped to provide some connection with the original areas farming heritage, but also provided the children of the area some inclusion in the design. The property owner has reported that many people do stop and discuss the mural with him, and he has been overwhelmed by the positive feedback."
