Change in attitudes/behaviour reflection Throughout and following the project, we observed notable positive shifts in community attitudes and behaviours. When the project first began, many residents were curious about the mural on the road. Once informed about the Streets Alive initiative, they showed great interest and shared personal experiences about the challenges of crossing the road due to high traffic at certain times of the day. The project also had a noticeable impact on motorists, who became more mindful of their speed along this stretch of road. The presence of the mural has assisted to raise awareness and encouraged drivers to slow down, contributing to a safer and more pedestrian-friendly environment.
