Development of a community-led Action Plan for the Portside precinct in Port Hedland, supporting the creation of a vibrant, creative and connected West End.
Town Team Movement was engaged by The Junction Co. to work in partnership with the Portside Town Team to develop a three-year action plan for the Portside precinct, the heart of Port Hedland's West End. The project focused on defining a clear, shared vision and values for the local town team while establishing a strategic framework to organise, fund, and deliver future community-led initiatives in the precinct.
- Undertook desktop research and review of existing strategies, plans and local context
- Delivered community engagement including surveys, stakeholder conversations and online and in-person meetings
- Facilitated co-design workshops to identify, refine and prioritise key themes and actions
- Supported translation of engagement findings into a structured Action Plan with timeframes and responsibilities
- Prepared draft and final Action Plan following review and feedback cycles
