Development of a community-led Place Plan for the Narrikup Town Centre, supporting the creation of a vibrant, connected and inclusive country town.
Town Team Movement was engaged by the Shire of Plantagenet, working alongside the Narrikup Sports & Community Group Inc. (NSCG), to develop a community-led Place Plan for the Narrikup Town Centre. Through a place-based approach, the project brought together local residents, farming families, newer residents and community groups to identify shared values, priorities and opportunities for the town’s future.
- Delivered community engagement through walkshops, surveys and one-to-one conversations
- Facilitated a Place Plan workshop to identify and test community values, vision and priorities
- Synthesised engagement findings into a Listening Report identifying key themes and insights
- Developed a community-led Place Plan and Implementation Framework informed directly by engagement findings
