To install traffic calming features to create new pathways, linking key local areas, encouraging walking or cycling, and improve road safety on Wingebellup Road (Main Street Frankland River). Our main street through Frankland River, Wingebellup Road from the intersection of Rocky Gully-Frankland Road through to the local Primary School on Moir Street Frankland River.

Change attitude & behaviours of traffic Created a visual display to encourage positive change in driver and passengers’ mood. Provided an area for rest and refreshment with nearby amenities & playground to add a restful approach to the journey and break the cycle of driving tired.

Build local capability Leading by example our project shows as community members and residents we can foster improvements to community and empower those around us to becomeinvolved working to create a better place to work, live and play alongside our LGA. The project has given our team members a boost of confidence to continue planning to expand ideas to further improve our community.

Enhancement of our main street With a vibrant colourful planting in the town Planter Boxes, we provide a vibrant refreshing new look to the main street. The new table/seating promotes a people- friendly environment to rest and enjoy each other’s company while taking a break from the journey & follow better road safety practises.
