A run-down park fondly known as Dig Dig Park was transformed into an inviting play space for young families to relax and connect. The project featured a community artwork, toy garage and little street library.
  • Transformed the run-down Dig Dig Park into a welcoming play space where young families could relax, connect and spend time together.
  • Worked with local artist Paula Hart and the children of Dianella to create community artwork in the park and on the footpaths.
  • Added playful, family-friendly features including a bespoke Little Rocket Library, sand table and toy garage.
  • Hosted a community celebration with bubbles, fairies, music, games, bocce, painting, storytelling, dancing, coffee and a sausage sizzle.
  • Partnered with local supporters including RAC WA, City of Stirling, Dianella Men’s Shed, Nogi Lane Cafe, Dianella Meats, Dianella Tavern and 68 Waverley Street Dianella.
  • Created a small neighbourhood gem that brought families together and gave the community a fun, memorable place to gather.
