Purpose & how to use: A structured template for the event risk management plan, written to ISO 31000:2009. Use it when council, insurers or sponsors require a formal risk plan.
Who it's for: Town Teams and event leads delivering public events of any meaningful size.
Key points: The template captures an event overview (date, type, location, attendance, equipment and approvals), the stakeholders and their core functions (council, police, DFES, security, contractors), an event-day communication plan and contact list, and a full risk assessment process including a risk identification form, matrix and consequence table. It then runs through identified hazards and an OHS summary.
