Method:
- Try to choose plants that are native to the area, hardy and/or have low water needs. Native pigface (Carpobrotus Glaucescens) is an excellent choice as it grows from cuttings (so basically free), very hardy, native and spreads quickly over a patch of dirt.
- You might need to water whatever you plant to begin with until it gets established.
