How To Become an Incorporated Association in the NSW v1

Purpose & how to use: NSW-specific incorporation guide, based on NSW Fair Trading processes under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009. Use it to navigate the NSW application and after-incorporation obligations.
Who it's for: NSW-based Town Teams forming or formalising.
Key points: NSW requires at least five members and a name acceptable to NSW Fair Trading, plus four or five objects. Application is via Form A2 (using either the model rules or your own) lodged by mail, email or in person at Service NSW, with a public officer and a committee of at least three. Once incorporated, "Incorporated" or "Inc" must appear on official documents and the team must keep a member register and accurate financial records.
